Application of computed tomography and operating microscope in planning and performing of endodontic treatment. Analysis of clinical cases
Abstract
Application of computed tomography and dental microscope Carl Zeiss OPMI pico in endodontics, in addition to generally used methods, allows to perform accurate diagnostics and choose the most suitable method of treatment. Careful mechanical treatment of root canals with ample irrigation with sodium hydrochloride solution with ultrasonic insonation and canal filling with thermoplastified guttapercha under visual control with the use of operating microscope allows to get predictable positive result of treatment in complicated cases.
