Clinical case of therapeutic treatment of a tooth cyst

Abstract

Chronic apical periodontitis can lead to the formation of large bone defects. The tooth, which became the cause of apical granuloma or cysts, often, have to be removed. Festering cyst can cause the development of an abscess or phlegmon of tissues in maxillofacial area and affect the health of the body. Timely endodontic treatment helps to avoid complications. The root cyst is often found in the diagnosis on the panoramic radiographs. This article provides a clinical case of endodontic treatment of a radicular cyst of the tooth.
