Long-term effects of endodontic treatment et endo-perio disease

Abstract

Periodontopatogenic microorganisms penetrating and infecting the tooth pulp complicate endodontic treatment and cause a relapse of the disease. The aim of the study was to increase the effectiveness of endodontic dentistry in patients with periodontal disease. 58 teeth in deep bone pockets were examined in 58 patients with a diagnosis of Chronic generalized periodontitis of severe severity. In the study, the correction of the existing protocol of endodontic treatment was carried out. The effectiveness of the corrected endodontic treatment algorithm in patients with periodontal diseases was microbiologically and clinically proven.
